Sid Meier’s Starships is coming to PC

You are fan of Sid Meier's work? If so, maybe the title of this one is worth waiting for. Firaxis Games has just announced Sid Meier's Starships, a turn-based strategy game themed space.

Starship using the universe of Civilization: Beyond Earth. Firaxis as the developer to develop a relationship between the two games. In Starship, gamers will play as a commander that allows to customize the entire fleet of space ships to sail and face the battle.

Gamers will explore the universe and build federation. Another objective is to spread the influence of the organization to all corners of the galaxy, in order to create peace. Each campaign offers a unique folder and of course with diverse missions. New technologies will continue to be created to support the complete various missions and protect the planet.

"When designing Starships, I think about the idea of exploring the next chapter of the story in Civilization: Beyond Earth. What happens after we managed to occupy a new home and eventually build a plane to roam the stars? What happened to our old brother of the planet Earth? "Said Sid Meier.

According to Meier, through Starships he wanted to build an experience that focuses on designing a spaceship and wars between galaxies, but still flavored element of adventure, diplomacy, and exploration.

Sid Meier's Starship scheduled to be released in the early months of 2015. Unfortunately, as the publisher 2K can not give a definite date. Problem platform intended, Starship confirmed attendees for Windows PC, Mac, and iPad.
