This expansion will continue the story of your last game points for Destiny, in an effort to hunt down his father Crota, known as the Oryx, the king in power today.

This expansion adds new abilities, weapons, maps and more content in it. Oryx is described like a dark version of Crota, which became the main antagonist of you opponent during its first expansion, The Dark Below. And the whole trailer that introduced also suitable, forces of darkness and retaliation for the death of Crota in the hands of the Guardian. Moreover, it seems very suited to Mercury, the new planet which allegedly would you encounter in this new expansion. Destiny: The Taken King has appeared since last month, with the advent of the logo of this expansion, which clearly shows the symbol Hive, cruel alien race that created the underground settlements on Earth and the Moon's surface. They should have managed to master the earth, in the absence of the resistance of Eris Morn, and the Guardians in The Dark Below. Hive himself has raised in its first DLC. And earlier when the Hive symbols appear, so many have predicted if new DLC Destiny tells about the return of the Hive, with its king today, Oryx, the ruler of all the Hive where you destroy one of his shrine during campaign Destiny. And Crota, one of his creations, was also killed in the raid at the end of The Dark.

Bungie also offers special packages for those of you who want to play this game directly to bundle all of its DLC. Sort GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition, which, of course, more economical.
