More recently, Valve announced that the number of active users has reached 100 million! Keep in mind that the last time Valve announces the number of active users they were last January. Since then, the number has increased by 25 million!
Unfortunately Valve did not elaborate on the meaning of 'active users' in here. Therefore, it is difficult to know whether the 100 million people all active login user and play games from Steam every day or not.
Responding to the achievement of 100 million users, Valve also revealed some improvement in their Steam Store. One of them is a brand-new tools and features that make it easier gamers in finding game. Later, Steam will give recommendations of the titles that might fit with the gamers.
In addition to improving the Steam Store quality, Valve has recently announced about the availability of several new currencies on Steam beside dollars. It's really great news for non American gamers right??
